1. Design of Sustainable House in Toronto, ON

• Designed a plan for the house and utilized the sun path, the wind rose and the location of the site to orient the house to maximize heat gains or ventilation
• Reduced energy consumption by retrofits, efficient ducts, and special design elements such as low U value windows.

2. Seismic Analysis and Capacity design of a High-rise Hotel Building

• Modelling and analyzing a 35-storey building located in Vancouver on Site Class D using ETABS and analyzing
1) Equivalent static analysis
2) Response Spectrum analysis
3) Time History as per as per NBCC 2015
• Performed strength design using S-concrete and capacity design of structural elements such as MRF (beam), columns, shear wall and coupled shear wall
• Reviewed Serviceability deflection limits
• Selected suitable Earthquake scaled it w.r.t Response spectrum
• Prepared technical report comprising of SLS, ULS and Capacity Design.

3. Analysis and Design of a High-Rise Building using Finite Element Analysis

• Performed Analysis and Design of 40-storey hotel project having plan dimensions of 36X51.23 meters located in London, Ontario Canada.
• Analyzed for a dynamic Wind Response using Hand calculations, Achieved the optimum mesh size for deflection control and computational time of ETABS Model.
• Designed structural members using ETABS using P-M interaction curve under snow load and wind load combinations as per NBCC 2015
•Articulated the details of the final design including detailed construction drawing (AutoCAD) in final technical report

4. Analysis of a cable-stayed Bridge by Spine and Shell Model using FEM in Sap 2000

• Modelling and analysis performed using SAP 2000 for three cable stayed bridge models created using single spine approach, frame and shell elements connected using rigid links and cardinal points
• Compared the deflection, torsion, and bending moment analysis results of all three models to determine the best modelling technique that simulate more realistic results

5. Analysis and Design of an Industrial steel Warehouse in Montreal,QC

• Modelled and analyzed an Industrial steel warehouse for Wind, Seismic and snow load using ETABS, as per NBCC 2015
• Strengthened lateral load resisting system by braced frame in modelling to reduce the torsional sensitivity of the steel structure consisting of crane girders.
• Designed beam, column, bracing with connection, and crane girder as per CSA S16-14.

6. Design of Timber House

• Design of a Light-Framed Wood House Design two-storey building using NBCC 2015 and CSA O86-19 Handbooks
• Provide a gravity and lateral load structural system for the building
• Designed All Floor Joists, Lintels and Beams, Posts and Columns, Interior Load Bearing Light-Framed Wood Walls, Floor Diaphragms, Exterior Light-Framed Wood Load-Bearing Shear Walls
• Checked for deflection under permissible limits and Designed sections that exceeded the deflection limits

7. Design and Modelling of 7 Storey Hotel Building using Revit in Mississauga, ON

• Created BIM Execution Plan, BIM Roles & Responsibilities, and BIM Uses
• Produced Process Map for the project and Information Exchanges with LODs
• Modeled the hotel with structural elements, furnished rooms, and lighting.

8. Dynamic Analysis of MDOF System (6 DOF system)

• Determined physical response by performing dynaminc analysis of MDOF system
